Not sure if i missed it but do the cabanas not have bathrooms in them? Is there like a building close that does have toilets in them or do they hike back where you enter?

We sailed on Norwegian's Pride of America on a 7 day cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. We hadn't had a good experience with crew rudeness, so I never wantedcto sail with them again, but they were the only option for this route. It was worse than the Dawn. They were short staffed in the kitchens we were told and orders took at least 45 minutes to arrive and the food was ad. I got violently ill for 24 hours from undercookd slimy shrimp in their Teppanyaki Restaurant. Sounds like your experience is similar on this trip. I had the added excitement of having someone start to walk in without knocking as I stepped out of the shower and reaching in the closet for clothes. I had pushed the door shut and the person did it again, without saying anything, even after I had flipped the sevond lock. It was day 3 and we had not yet met our cabin steward. He finally walked away, but I didn't know if it was our steward. I felt unsafe the rest of the trip. All the restaurant hostesses and servers seemed to hate their jobs and just wanted your order, so they could leave. We are Canadians and naturally smile and are friendly, but it had no effect on this ship. They didn't clear plates, so those bringing the next course would have to awkwardly remove plates before delivering the next course. You had to wait and wave and call out if you wanted another glass of wine. We ended up eating breakfast and a light dinner in the buffet and had a big lunch off the ship. I have food allergies, so the buffet with all the sauces and majority chicken dishes I can't have was tricky. I lost 4 lbs over our 10 day trip. I'm sorry your exprrience wasn't what you hoped.

No way I will walk that distance with my toddler , walking back to the ship after a full day in the beach is crazy . Thanks not for me . I will stay onboard

Everyone complaining about the walk but have no issue walking all day at Disney….

I once lived on Midway Atoll, and the water and beach were exactly the same. The white sand and the water were so clear that you underestimated the depth. It’s rude to correct someone, and I do respect ya, Mr. David, but it is CAY, not Key. Lookout CAY. The flies did it for me. I’m sorry, but like Ben said, I’m not touching the fly-infected food. What can Disney do about it? I don’t know. It's disappointing that Disney didn’t catch this before the Cay opened. If they expect someone picky like me to consume the food, then they had better get a fly wrangler in there. I have the fair Irish/English complexion that Mr. Sun loves to attack and burn to a crisp. I was glad to see many shady areas. And, my final word, get those darn flies under control! Larry from Texas

A frozen head is the worst! I had one the other day with a margarita and hit you out of nowhere. The potato soup looks yummy (minus the cheese). And the French onion minus the cheese I always order French onion without the cheese and bread. 🧅

In the USA Relators no longer use the term Master Bedroom since America has a troubling history of with that word. Instead the bedroom is called the Primary Bedroom. Which I like a lot more. As an American I thought I would pass this information along because you said master bedroom a lot in your video. Maybe the term primary bedroom hasn’t caught on in Britain? But Britain definitely has a similar terrible history with the word master. You guys can be trendsetters!

We have not tried cruising yet. Do they check your bags when you get back to the ship in case we want to buy a bottle of wine to bring on board?

Looks boring and nothing much to do. However, it was the first ever visitors to that part of the Eleuthera Islands so there are bound to be problems with which will hopefully be resolved over time as more people visit.

Watching the titanic while on a transatlantic cruise is a level of dark I did not expect from Brits. Bravo gentleman! 😂😂😂

This feels unfinished to me. The pier and the rest of the island has no evidence of a theme, no shade, no thought for those with disabilities. Then there's nothing to do as compared to Castaway Cay. I love how they are leaning into the local culture as the "theme" but I feel like they could do a better job at themeing the ambiant aspects of the island. It just feels so plain to me as compared to CC. They could also add more subtle disney touches as well.

The island is not very accessible friendly. SO much walking which would be almost an impossibility with anyone that has mobility issues.

As usual, great video. This isn't the first video I've seen of yours about the off-ship/ beach visit- with food where you find the trays of food covered in flies. You are so right to not eat that, but what a disappointment. Beautiful setting but pack a lunch from the ship. Omg.

I had the honor of experiencing Castaway Cay and on Disney's 1st private island they have trams and while there is some walking it doesn't seem as long like this video was showing for the new island. Overall Castway was enjoyable so it's disappointing to see the experience from having one island didn't help with the planning for a 2nd concerning the walk and shade. More worrying is the pest sistuation as agian Disney has experience and handles pests at WDW and other locations decently so was hoping for better.

I'm guessing the curtain for the mirror is for the light mirrors reflect a lot more light than you would think

Well I don't think this is the best of Disney in fact its not what you would expect of Disney. Very average not very Bahamian and certainly not Disney. Early days but a lot of work is needed to create the wow factor and justify the costs associated with the drinks, merchandise etc,etc. Admittedly great beaches and sea but everything else is really not great

When I first saw this dock I thought it was a meme. I thought there's no way this can be serious. The rest of the island just looks industrial and boring. It's way too spread out, there are these weird Seas of endless chairs in a grid pattern. It looks like some kind of military installation. The beaches look beautiful but they're way too big. It will take you 20 minutes to get anywhere. This island or should I say area does not have anything cute or quaint about it in any way. It looks really unappealing and quite boring. Castaway Key looks way more fun and way more appealing. Is it just me or does it feel like Disney has completely lost its touch with pretty much everything?

We got off the Beyond last month. We had a Sunset Veranda, so we had a traditional balcony. It was so humid and warm that we wound up going to the Solarium to read. We only had 20 kids under age 18. We are on an Apex cruise to Norway next summer, and the Sunset Verandas were sold out.

A cruise for those with a lot of money and don't mind wasting it on the unnecessary.

Beach looks very rocky. Also kind of a waste to have that big interior area with just a big table and basic doctor waiting room furniture.

I fail to understsnd how you both stay so slim with all those belly-busting courses! Please share your secret as I would have to be taken off that ship by a crane! 🤣🤣
